Over the centuries, some pretty smart people did some pretty amazing things, they explored places, built empires and invented things we still use today. Some people call that ‘history’ but we call it fun, because we’re the History Hunters.
From the makers of the highly successful factual children’s series Backyard Science and Kid Detectives, comes a fun and exciting new factual entertainment television series History Hunters for children between six and ten years old, the series turns children into explorers through history.
Each themed episode is a dynamic mix of studio-based activities, child-centric location pieces and laugh-out loud animations that show how the lifestyles, inventions, people and traditions from the past, shape our everyday lives.
From the innards of a travelling globe, our hosts hunt through history to discover what life was really like throughout history, exploring some of the weird and wonderful things that went on in ancient life.
Each episode sees our band of pint-sized History Hunters (aka real life children) set missions to match, make and explore customs, inventions and discoveries from history. History will be hunted!
